Why do we like TV drama???

We like TV drama for many different reasons has it has many genres such period drama, crime/police, hospital and Sci-Fi. These different genres appeal to everyone has they have excitement and suspense to keep you interested in the story line with all the action so you get involved and emotional attached to the characters also with their lifestyle and personality. But also the TV dramas make you empathise with some characters and their situation, mainly for entertainment reason and we just enjoy them. With the Sci-Fi genre it makes things believeable and its interesting, well all of TV drama interesting and that is what grabs us as the audience attentions, plus its fun in the crime section it makes you as the viewer to try and figure out the murder etc and how they keep the suspense with mabye make it a two part episode like waking the dead etc.Another main reason for watching TV Drama is that its used as escapism from reality and you can just relax and forget everything else and just have fun watching it.
